Kimberley Lehman, CBCP

Kim LehmanAs co-founder of TwoSeven, Kim has actively participated in the oversight and execution of all projects for both public and private sector clients. She is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with over 15 years of experience in business analysis, customer relationship management and project management. For the last eight years, she has focused exclusively on business continuity planning. Kim is an experienced professional who has successfully managed numerous Business Continuity Planning Projects, as well as Vulnerability Assessments, Business Impact Analyses, and Information Security Audits. Her expertise includes developing Business Recovery and Continuity strategies for Fortune 100 companies including off-shore outsourcing, financial and healthcare companies, state agencies and local municipalities throughout North America.

Kim has been key in the design of international business continuity strategies as well as successfully managing multiple teams working simultaneously for different clients. Her project management and technical expertise were instrumental to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Security Awareness Training Project, which was honored with the “Gracie Award.” This award is sponsored by the Government Technology Magazine and granted by the federal government to recognize outstanding performance and successful implementation of a public/private venture.

Kim LehmanShe is the co-author of a white paper on the Assessment of HIPAA Security Requirements on Disaster Recovery Planning published in the Disaster Recovery Journal. She is a frequent speaker on Enterprise-wide Business Continuity Planning at national conferences including: Contingency Planning Management Conferences and the International Disaster Recovery Symposium.

Kim is an avid outdoors-woman and spends her free time doing any and all things outside with her dog Penny, who trains for marathons and snowshoe races at her side. Between races, Kim and Penny enjoy hiking, horseback riding and camping.

 

Virginia Miller, CBCP

Virginia MillerPrior to co-founding TwoSeven, Virginia focused her talents directing a national business continuity planning practice that served 35 offices across North America. Virginia has over 23 years experience in the IT profession. As a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), she has worked exclusively in the disciplines of business continuity and information security since 1992.

Virginia has provided her consulting services internationally to Fortune 100 companies, the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the New York City Transit Authority as well as businesses and agencies throughout North America.
Her expertise and dynamic presentation style has made her a national figure in the field of Business Continuity. She has lectured and presented on numerous topics within the disciplines of information security, technology
recovery, and business continuity at the following:

  • New York Information Security Conference
  • International Disaster Recovery Symposium
  • Colorado Information Management Conferences

Virginia served as a member of the Advisory Committee on Privacy for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Joint Commission on Technology and Science. In addition, she is published on the topics of disaster recovery and HIPAA security compliance, and has been quoted in several major newspapers and business journals on business continuity planning and information security.

Virginia MillerWhen she is not refining Recovery Strategy techniques, Virginia enjoys cooking her Mom’s fine Italian family recipes, playing golf, hiking, snowshoeing, and running 5K and 10K races...with an occasional half and full marathon thrown in for good measure.
